The problem is that when they starve they are more likely to join the war for money. This might not be a huge problem though. One has to assume that a hillbilly with 2 weeks of training isn't actually contributing to the fight as anything else than a meat shield.

Soon the tax payments wil be coming in, and they will not be impressive. It is likely to make their national budget suffer more than expected.

"Never attribute to malice that which is adequately explained by stupidity." .

@jarcadipane2849 "not lost anywhere near the amount of troops that Ukraine has " Just saying that like it is a truth is not actually an argument.

Still a fantastic audio production. What kind of tool do yo use to filter out everything? Is it the same tech that gives me isolated John Entwistle bass lines?
3
The lack of support is hilarious indeed. I can not imagine any level at where a group of players would start buying. Maybe they will make an attempt at 200 🤣
3
@FuzzyCoconut7 Yes. And every day they lose more. Is this confusing to you?
2
He does not live in your country anymore. He can call him/them what he wants.
2
Interesting, but which market do you get the data from? The MOEX and all Russian markets set the exchange rate via decree. Any foreign markets trading it would surely have its numbers skewed due to low volume, right?
2
You have not really studied finance, have you. A sliding ruble value leads to a very high inflation, which is ofc what we are seeing now.
2
@ebre3080 Better you rest your brain. The numbers are published, and you do not understand anything about economy. No major player in the west even runs with a fraction of Russia's inflation, with the possible exception of Turkey.
2
@BarsMonster What makes you think that China can afford what would proverbially be digging holes and filling them again? They already have a 700 billion state deficit, do you reckon they could add 900 billion to that with no issue?
2
The only way they kept it up was due to support purchases. Now they can not afford to anymore.
2
Great stuff. I am following the ruble rate on a site called Kovalut. It tracks actual exchange offices in different cities in RUssia. Confirmed for being 99.9 ruble to the USD right now. They should drop another 10% very quickly now, maybe even before xmas.
2
@rabokarabekian409 If you want to look at trade balance, you already have a BRICS currency. It is the Yuan. The others bring very little to the table.
1
@TrevorCrook-c1s "The dollar Ruble ratio" LOL Come back when RU manages to bring out a top of the line semiconductor foundry. RU manufactures very little of what people need, Kermit.
1
Oh, a known bot telling us how we should feel. How cute.
1
Fun part is that the numbers that the vatniks throw around, about IMF showing that Russian economy is increasing, also show that Ukraine's economy has an even higher GDP growth in 2023.
1
Surprised to see the cross, considering that all you give us via verbal communication is logic and data. But you do you.
1
@Silver_Prussian "oil refineries are gigantic facilities made to handle explosions" LOL. Did your mom drop you on your head while squeezing you out?
1
@jarcadipane2849 So why do you do it?
1
The BRICS currency does not exist and nobody wants to get into any deals with RU right now. Any entities that focus on financial transactions with RU will lose its ability to transact with the west.
1
Less of a crisis if it is held by a nation and the rest of the world uses it as a reserve currency.
1
Your blinders are on. The real manipulation here is by Russia.
1
@exocet8834 That 2022 drop was just a freak chart-candle over a day, or three. Right now we are talking consistence.
1
@EconLessons Thanks, I am looking at Kovalut for the rates but that is hard to decipher too. The spread is insane some days. I believe that is where the real disaster will appear when it comes.
1
With the ruble sliding, it costs even more to service the debt.
1
@Chris-zu4es That GDP, if correct, is also related to revenue, not profit. If China is Russia's only saviour then China will want huge chunks of Siberia. Some oil depots and a tiny sliver of land will not be enough.
1
@ebre3080 You are too thic k to understand that the censorship is automated. I accept your concession that you lost. Rest your brain too, not only your case.
1
@ebre3080 Do you enjoy spouting gibberish? Stick to your own language if you lack a command of English. You have been set straight ITT. You are dismissed.
1
No, it is tariffs on BRICS products. China would implode if their products got sanctioned to that extent.
1
@BarsMonster And give unemployment benefits to the people that used to manufacture 823 billion dollar worth of goods? How will these people pay their mortgages and participate in domestic consumption? What will happen to the manufacturing industr when a very large chunk of it disappers overnight You did not think this through.
1
He is not in Ukraine, and a regular caucasian does not need more clothes than that when the temperature reads +.
1
@nickhart8212 "the RUB has bounced back against USD and GBP the past few day" Read up on dead cat bounce.
1
It is not up today. Kovalut is the only realistic site to track the Ruble. Shows the exchange rate in actual exchange offices in all RU cities. Dropped another percent today.
1
Meanwhile, BTC is gonna pass 100K. That is just another market that Russians participate in with less efficiency, just because of the war their daddy started. What a mess.
1
Why would they do that?
1
Then there is no profit left in the oil. It costs to pump and transport, and the price is very low already.
1
@Lucas-wn5wm You genius you. You do not sustain a war by losing $10 for every barrel you pump.
1
Trump is not a one-trick-pony. Making RU suffer strengthens the USD standing, and when they fold all RU assets can be bought for pennies on the dollar. I am sure Trump's backers know this.
1
Yet you can not break down what is wrong. The death cross and the MA are important trend indicators no matter what you measure.
1
@AlexPovolotsky A big chunk of those people live in remote PA valleys or the Arizona desert because they want to, not because they have to.
