  1. When TYT (Ana/Cenk) went on their first anti-trans tirade I canceled my membership and stopped watching the main channel. All they do these days is adopt right wing talking points and seem incapable of discussing any of these issues with any sophistication, facts, or nuance. Cenk is absolutely unsufferable and Francesca is awesome for standing on principle.

  2. Over a decade ago TYT used to complain about politicians and media using polling to determine how they should cover issues. That it was bad to always land on a middle position not matter the extremes. Cenk literally railed against a poll where people thought Iraq had something to with 911. Now it seems that this fake centrism is all they do these days. Francesca is right, being a progressive doesn't mean you're only in favor of what is politically popular. It also doesn't mean that "trans women in sports" needs to be the top priority on the democratic platform, but as a progressive you shouldn't use right wing framing to dogpile on women and trans women who are already the most vulnerable and victimized in our society.

  3. Olympic female boxing in France has absolutely nothing to do with American politics or this upcoming election... TYT has let Twitter rot their minds so much that they literally cannot do a show unless it's in response to some nonsense fight on Twitter.
