It's interesting how when people voice opinions that are different from your own, or give air times to opinions you don't like, they're suddenly "panderers and grifters". I believe that's the case when it comes to Jimmy Dore or Dave Rubin, but I really don't think that of Joe Rogan or Russel Brand. They're already wealthy and established with no real reason to "grift". These are the same people you celebrated when they had opinions you liked. I really like you guys, but a lot of times there's a kind of elitism to your commentary that occasionally makes me cringe. Often times you act as if people who voice differences of opinion are not just wrong or have a disagreement, but they must be nefarious and morally corrupt in some way. I think this attitude turns a lot of people off. One of the things the things that I miss about Michael Brookes is that he often brought humility to the show and understanding where people are coming from. Instead, you tend to just jump down the throats of anyone moving a centimeter outside of your narrative and label them as monsters or idiots. A large part of the appeal of people like Rogan is not pretending he knows everything at every moment. Which makes him approachable. Like MB used to say "meeting people where they are" instead of just talking down to them all the time,

@vgaportauthority9932 They were already famous and established and had long careers. You have to be really careful when you start attributing motivation to people. I mean honestly the same thing could be said of Sam. In fact, people have often said similar things of Sam. I doubt it's any kind of "playbook", it's probably just their personality.

@happyprogressivepoop1422 Sigh.... I want to say you're wrong, but I can't. I guess it is the times we're in where people are just becoming more and more militant with their views.

@davidfaustino4476 Yes, but there is a difference between a hedge fund manager or a CEO of an investment firm vs. actors and comedians. Getting rich from a talent vs. getting rich because that was the only thing you were taught to value in life, are completely different perspectives. The former is going to have plenty of friends who aren't wealthy, the latter isn't going to know anything else other than comparing themselves to other wealthy people.

@jshowa o Maybe in certain cases, we're all human and I'm sure I've also acted elitist plenty of times. However, the issue is that it's becoming more of a constant trend lately. A small story suddenly becomes "OMG how could have said that?! You're absolutely destroying this country with your irresponsible behavior! You grifter!"
