Of course we never compare the accidents of self driving technology with the thousands of accidents that occur each month with non-self driving technology.... I think it's a bit reactionary to target the technology which will improve over time as all technology does. The fact is we already live in a world where we except tens of thousands of deaths each year because of transportation technology which was far worse before things like seatbelts and airbags became standard.

@JasonBoyce That's just a legal problem to solve... The whole reason we have "car insurance" and we decided it is mandatory, and we needed police reports that get written up during a collision is that we had a similar legal problem to solve when cars became more prevalent. No different here. Eventually we'll figure it out.
