  1. I like Jimmy Dore when he's paired with others who bother to do the research. I don't like Jimmy Dore when he's by himself ranting on the screen and having little idea of what he's talking about. The left does not need reactionaries like the right has. If you're swinging from someone like Alex Jones to Jimmy Dore because of how emotional they are instead of the actual policies and substance of the issues, then I really don't care about your vote.

  3. @Christopher Bradley First off the viewership of people like Rush Limbaugh was ALWAYS exaggerated. The last time Rush Limbaugh had any actual influence or a significant viewership was over two decades ago. After that it was Fox News just pretending that Rush had influence, but since then Fox News has been the one with real influence. The only reason why Alex Jones had a spike in viewers recently is because he had the ear of Donald Trump and he went on his show a couple times. It never had anything to do with their ideas. The problem with Jimmy is that he throws his anger everywhere... He throws it at Democrats more often than he does Trump. Anger without context doesn't really accomplish anything. People who are just angry at everything and pretend that a 3rd party is the only answer and don't get engaged politically in any kind of meaningful way because they are jaded, are useless "votes" to go after because people like that aren't interested in voting FOR anything. The reason why Rush and Fox News were successful is because they got their viewers to vote AGAINST something and support the Republican no matter what. Jimmy didn't care if Trump won or not, he really didn't support Bernie Sanders much at all. He mainly sat around bitching about everything and even going as far as saying that Clinton was worse than Trump... That message causes people STAY HOME on election day rather than DO SOMETHING. Unfocused anger is not something that we need. It only gets us people like Trump.
