  1. You can also save lives by forcing prohibition of alcohol. You can also save lives by banning sugar or limit sodas like Bloomberg was once trying to do. The right wing goes around all the time saying they are "saving lives" by preventing abortion. You can't say it's not a mandate while simultaneously saying "it worked" by forcing people into getting vaccinated. It's obvious what the intent was.
