You guys are seriously conflating "efficacy"... Under Delta the vaccines had a high efficacy at preventing symptomatic covid, but it was not very efficient in preventing transmission of Covid. Joe Rogan was referring to transmission not just "breakthrough infections" or symptomatic covid which is a COMPLETELY DIFFERENT when talking about transmission. We started wearing masks again because vaccinated people could asymptomatically still transmit the disease when Delta was prevalent. With Omicron transmissibility is even higher, but even under Delta studies were showing a high rate of transmission. However, the media was still pretending as if vaccinations were stopping transmission when that was never what they were designed to do. So Joe is somewhat correct on that point.
