Tulsi uses a lot of Republican talking points because she has always leaned conservative, she even used to date a republican congressman. I would not be surprised if she switched parties after 2020, because I do think she would run as a Republican if it helped her politically. The reason she went after Kamala and Warren after defending Biden is because she's angling to be his VP. People jumping on the Tulsi-train really need to look at her past comments on gay rights, torture, Syria bombing, government shut down, Israel, Kashmir, etc. As well as her waffling on Medicare for All.

@scoutregiment4701 Wrong... Tulsi was an adult and in the Hawaii legislature when she was actively fighting against gay rights. She only came around after she joined Congress and it became politically untenable to hold onto that position. It was also the same time that Clinton changed her stance on gay marriage. No I don't want her to "eat out a female" or whatever other disgusting straw man (or likely a fantasy) you're making up. I want a leader to be on the right side of history not just follow the political winds like Tulsi is doing. If you can't see that then you're effing naive. Someone who doesn't have enough moral sense to know right from wrong well into adulthood or is still "on the fence" when it comes to torture as late as 2012, DOES NOT deserve my vote. Sorry. People who blindly follow politicians who just came around to their positions a few years ago are just sheep.

@scoutregiment4701 Where is your evidence for Tulsi changing her mind in 2005? Did she make a public statement then? Support gay rights in some way? You have a 16 year old being a world advocate for climate change meanwhile you expect me to somehow give credit to 30 year old Tulsi for finally coming around AFTER most people in her party supported gay rights? How is that good judgement? How is that leadership? Do you honestly expect ME to consider someone a leader when they came to the right answer a decade or two after I did? Seriously? Even Obama was in favor of same sex marriages in 1996 although he wavered somewhat later on. Furthermore you're confusing "mercilessness vengeance" with people not believing or trusting a politician. Just as people didn't believe Clinton or when Trump suddenly found Jesus... I'll answer any question you have as long as it's not a straw man.

@jessejgay1 I was supporting Bernie for president long before he finally decided to run for president.

@jessejgay1 I don't know... It wouldn't be a bad choice.

@scoutregiment4701 DUDE, It's called a "primary"... I have no problems with Tulsi proving herself and actually getting things done for progressives over the next few years. I welcome that in fact. However I do have a problem with choosing her as leader of the free world when there are FAR better choices out there. A 38 year old has PLENTY of time to figure out who the f**k she really is and prove it with actual receipts. In the mean time we really don't have to pick someone who spent most of their life fighting against gay rights, not knowing whether torture is a good idea or not, not fully supporting medicare for all, not being critical of Israel oppressing Palestinians, being somewhat Islamophobic, being supported by Hindu nationalist, and going around using Republican talking points on Fox News. I can choose the guy who was fighting for gay rights in the 80s when it wasn't popular. Who got arrested fighting for civil rights when it wasn't popular. Who spoke out against the Iraq War when it wasn't popular. Who came up with the idea of "Medicare for All" when it wasn't popular. Who speaks for the rights of Palestinians when it's not popular. THAT IS A REAL LEADER. Understand?
