  1. There was certainly lots of fake science and false information spread by "the right". However, you also never talk about the fake science and misinformation that came from "the left". Such as: 1. Natural immunity provides little to no protection from future Covid infections. 2. Vaccination prevents transmission. Both of those things were proven false in several studies. Yet it was constantly perpetuated in so called "left wing" media circles for over a year. Once this became a culture war a lot of people threw science and discovery right out the window and fell into their camps.

The fact that you know a standard talking point, but don't understand the terminology or what I was talking about, is the exact point I was making... "Natural immunity" simply refers to someone who has recovered from covid. Which has been shown to offer slightly better protection to reinfection than someone fully vaccinated and boosted. Even over a year later. However unlike other countries, the US never had a policy taking covid recovery into account. Purely because of POLITICS. 2. That is a claim with ZERO research behind it. It is only an assumption. There was a study in the UK published 6 months ago that showed that vaccinated households only reduced the transmission of Delta by 30%. They found that although vaccines reduce the time a person is infected, vaccinated individuals were just as contagious as unvaccinated individuals. The reason everyone started wearing masks again a year ago was because it was obvious that the virus was still spreading even if people were vaccinated. However, shows like this one still repeated misinformation based on an assumption. No studies ever claimed vaccines stop transmission, only that they reduce symptoms, hospitalizations, and deaths. Again, the fact that you don't know that is a result of the culture war nonsense I was talking about.
