People need to understand that this virus is now endemic. There is no stopping it at this point. We could have stopped it early on as other countries did, but we're way past that point now. There was a good chance that the vaccines would stop transmission, but that is not the case and that has been clear for awhile now. EVERYONE will eventually get Covid in the country at some point and we need to come to terms with that reality. We can use vaccines and treatments to reduce symptoms, but that's all we can do.
