It's interesting how we can have Trump directly threatening media outlets, threatening to change libel laws so that he could jail reporters, revoking press passes, calling them the "enemy of the people", and goading his supporters into attacking them. Meanwhile the press secretary suggests that Spotify do something about misinformation on their platform and suddenly it's a constitutional crisis... I also like how Ryan suggests that somehow the press goaded Trump into authoritarianism. Weird how when Democrats are in the Whitehouse the narrative is that they are all powerful and can control social media with just a mere suggestion, but when Trump was in Whitehouse, he somehow has no power and is controlled by the press and the "deep state".
