  1. It is a fact that Covid is mild in athletes. A study on elite athletes showed that only 2% had moderate symptoms. The rest were mild and asymptomatic. So why should they be forced to take a vaccine that impacts them far less than it does the general public? You say they think they are invincible, but according to the data they mostly are invincible when it comes to Covid. These are people who have spent their entire lives working on their bodies are probably more freaked out than most when their agency for what goes into their body is taken away from them.

  2. Linking the fact that some athletes not taking the vaccine to "public health" is misinformation. There is no link. There are literally hundreds of things an athlete does for his or her own health that is entirely different than the rest of the public. And we've known for almost a year now that spreading the virus has absolutely nothing to do with vaccination status. Also, you should actually talk to some of these players instead of just playing clips and assuming what their psychology is...
