  1. We really need to stop perpetuating this idea that we're going to reach "herd immunity" and stop this nonsense culture war over vaccinations. NONE of the vaccines have ever been shown to "stop" transmission of the virus, they only reduce transmission somewhat, even in countries with far higher vaccination rates than our own Covid is still spreading. Covid is going to be endemic, in other words we're going to be living with the virus in some form or another for years to come. There is absolutely no chance of stopping the virus at this point. All we can do is use vaccines and treatments to reduce/eliminate symptoms. However at some point everyone is going to catch some form of covid, just like people catch the flu.
