I have no idea what studies Francesca is referring to, but all the long-term studies I've seen have clearly shown that prior infection has about the same protection against reinfection as being vaccinated and boosted. All vaccines do is simulate an infection without the damaging effects of getting an infection so that the body can build an immune response to it. There is no magic beyond what the body already does against infections. I have no idea why it became a religion among some people.
