If you went back a 100 years you would in fact find lots of people, including teachers and lawmakers who thought there was a "good side" to slavery. Just like you can find people today who think that Derek Chauvin did nothing wrong or that the insurrection on the 6th was fine and justified

@AaronOkeanos You can't separate opinions from history, sorry. You cannot talk about slavery, genocide, or an atomic bomb without discussing moral implications.

@AaronOkeanos Not sure what your point is, but okay. The entire nature of history itself is subjective and it relies entirely on who recorded it and who is reciting it.
