From each according to his ability, to each according to his needs"... The very poetry of socialism.... also having been raised as the son of a civil servant in the "Raj" ruling in India, he was horrified by its injustices, so much like the idealistic but naive dupes who nowadays parrot "BLM" "Be ashamed of your White privilege" "multi-culturalism" "LGBTQSYCJUSTBKOXEF" rights, he believed he was rushing off to Spain to fight for the obviously just cause of "human goodness and kindness", and against the evils of fascism...... ONLY to discover that those who sold him and the other idealistic youth the socialist Utopian dream, were EVERY bit as murderous, untrustworthy, duplicitous, self serving & despotic as those they were being directed to kill.
