Some of what you say may well be true, but don't forget "left leaning people" also instigated the gulag system, carried out the "holodomor" in Ukraine in the 1930s, and were responsible for the deaths of FAR more innocent civilians then ALL the right wing regimes throughout the 20th century. Seems you have political monocular vision... its not the "left" or the "right" that need watching its the extremes of BOTH ideologies.
