Hi, I'm a "good human" and I like Jubilee videos a lot, but this one has all the elements that I don't like (why can't the people see each other like in the Marvel fans one? or at least speak to each other? It seems very difficult for some people to read and type and also figure out anything this way.).
My favorite Jubilee videos are the ones where the people interact together in person, and my next favorite are when they interact when they can see each other and hear each other even at a distance. The ones with typing are pretty difficult for me to go through and read and keep up with, and it seems difficult for the people participating as well, and even relies on their internet speed.
The worst versions are when they are all unable to see each other, not speaking much, just typing frantically in a tiny text box that is hard to see, it is moving so fast, and then they are talking about all sorts of things which each have their own rather exclusive fan base, so it is like technical terminology about individual stories.
It isn't even like saying "Marvel" which people are much more familiar with, but each is bringing up very specific anime titles and different shows of all sorts, so it was way too broad seeming overall (the entire Japanese animation industry from any period of time).
So, this is possibly my least favorite video overall as combining all the worst qualities. The absolute best version is the opposite, has people in person who can at least see each other and hear each other at the very least, speaking about one pretty narrow and easy to understand defined area or topic (not the entire film industry for example or "do you like movies" which seems just as broad almost, but something more narrow would be "do you cosplay" or "do you attend comic conventions" or "do you collect toys" even as a more broad one but still would be good if someone can also try to convince others that they do).
So I'm hoping that, even during the COVID-19 lockdown type stuff, that the videos might instead be those where the people see each other and hear each other (like the one about the Lesbians for example). All the Jubilee videos are outstanding and excellent, but its best when people are not put under immense stress by having to compete in a frantic chat while otherwise blinded to clues and the audience is put under pressure to read a laggy and delayed chat that is barely moderated. It might even be better that a moderator asks questions and then the group answers or something more organized. I know that Jubilee is nice enough to read these sorts of comments to look for ways to potentially approve, and this is coming from a genuine fan who is so impressed by the productions and what one can learn from these very positive and enlightening videos that are also addictive due to how interesting they are or can be. My favorite so far was the "straight men finding gay man" one and my least favorite has been this one probably for the aforementioned reasons.
If this comment does get read, I will mentioned here also that there are some additional factors and improvements to the "odd man out" game that can make there be less of a feeling of "loss" and more of ongoing participation from interesting individuals and a chance for them to win again as well even after being voted out, and so certain design improvements can make the game more competitive and interesting by getting more time with individuals voted out immediately by their remaining present, able to continue to contribute votes, and able to somehow get the money for themselves (or others who were voted out).
