Although this is an Edit, this has to be top remark. Around 11:30. 'If you had a democratic gouvernment, it's unlikely that a democratic regime would have sided with Hitler. They would have sided with France'. BIGGEST FREAKING IRONY EVER. TIK, I know economics beyond 'mainstream capitalism' beat you up hard, but I thought you were an expert historian. THAT IS PHRASE. What you have said yourself in the second half, 'WOULD HAVE SIDED WITH FRANCE' IT'S EXACTLY WHAT USSR TRIED TO DO. IT WAS FRANCE THAT SIDED WITH HITLER. TREATY OF MUNCHEN 1938. The French were requesting the Soviet Union to not defend Czechoslovakia, despite the tri-partite treaty between them AGAINST HITLER. Soviet Union had no way to directly interfere without France because 1. France was backing the Munich Agreement 2. No direct way to reach Germany.
'Everything it builds is consumption rather than production'. So I guess in the great capitalist West, people just sat on the shit they built instead of consuming it? Really TIK?
Also, 'into something that is not needed, such as guns, tanks battleships'
Yeah, those T-34s were deffinetly freaking useless against the initial german onslaught. I believe some WW1 era tanks would have been more than sufficient.
