There is an extension to bring them back tho ;-)
1
@inarisound True. I can see only number of likes now. That was a dumb move from them.
1
@Wahinies xD
1
Why not! ;-)
1
Not sure. If it's true - they will use a safe fork of it - they are not stupid.
1
Tweakers would let you turn off almost anything ;-)
1
In what system? Windows? Linux? Mac? In most cases you just have to download that from the official site and then bring it back to your PC that has no Internet. So you should be able to download it from somewhere first ;-)
1
Who knows? :-) The question is: why would NSA be interested in you as a person? As a dot on a map - maybe. But why as a person?
1
@ChucksSEADnDEAD Maybe. But noone would be actually interested to look at it. Not saying that spying is a good thing tho :-)
1
Modders could care ;-)
1
People just buy new laptops with Windows 11 and too lazy to even disable telemetry ;-)
1
Yep!
1
Test it ;-)
1
xD
1
If you are watching Youtube on PC - try "Adblock Plus" browser extension. There will be almost no adds :-)
1
Sus Look at their owners ;-)
1
It's easy: * If you think that Crypto will not go anyway - BUY * If you think tht Crypto is done - SELL (I will gladly buy it ;-) )
1
@kjullthedemon Good news!
1
5:06 - Since when *.PNG has layers? :-)
1
Linux Mint or Linux Pop_OS are two great choices for newcomers: pleasant, fast, helpful, works out of the box. Try them in VM first!
1
Could be. I would totally ignore all short comments for the algorithm
1
Depends on your goals: + It's great as a Server + It's great for old PCs and laptops - It's not great at gaming - It's not great with professional software like AutoCAD and Adobe Suite
1
@The_RedPilot Just google "deflation in economy" and "inflation in economy" and you would find very interesting information ;-) It's not that black and white.
1
What if you want new features? ;-) Firewall is a also a good solution
1
It's better than WPA2 but it needs additional server to use it. For all questions -> google.com
1
Not so simple for "normal" people - they can't even memorize two buttons ;-)
1
There are Command Prompt commands and you can even do that "the normal way". Just google ;-)
1
Yep!
1
So even the God himself can't fix the JS! ;-)
1
Install 3.0.2 and look for a changelog what changed since 2.1.2 ;-) https://github.com/audacity/audacity/releases
1
"I'm only on Signal now!"
1
95% of people are idiotic ;-)
1
That's correct.
1
It's "Linux Mint KDE" :-)
1
If your node is not an exit node - you will be fine. About morality - your node WILL be used for "good" and "bad" purposes. There is no way out of it. Same if you are selling... kitchen knives, for example ;-)
1
Yes you can ;-)
1
Easier. But is it smarter? :-)
1
Ubuntu is under Cannonical which is known for their... strange behavior ;-) Why not POP os or Mint?
1
I would suggest Linux Mint: comfy, easy, stable.
1
On should backup your data on all OSes tho ;-)
1
Do they really have the choice? ;-)
1
There is a smarter idea: Block Internet access for Audacity in your Firewall. Google how to do that - it's like 5 minutes.
1
Install O&O ShupUp++ to disable almost all the telemetry on Windows 10-11. They watched the traffic and blocking what they find strange - look at HOSTS afterwards ;-)
1
Source would be nice ;-) But they do log some things that that they don't have to (like phone number and some metadata)
1
Why would they do that for free? ;-)
1
That way you will lose all new features and will have to develop them from scratch. Deleting code is easier than creating ;-)
1
True! But video will be MUCH less dramatic if he actually says that ;-)
1
Most likely
1
* They do. * Because they don't have updates that brake your PC ;-)
1
"What problem are they trying to solve?" - less salaries ;-) One intern cost 500$ per month while basic ChatGPT subscription is only 20$ per month
