True. But it's Open Sourced - if it's compromised - any web security developer could find that out.
1
If you log in - you LOOSE any privacy!
1
@xPumaFangx Well... there are SO many thinks that I don't know yet :-)
1
Agree.
1
Also: "How to be anonimus if you are not an IT specialist?" - "Be an IT specialist". You just can't install Tor and don't care about anything :-) Developers of Linux Tails have interesting remarks about privacy: https://tails.boum.org/doc/about/warning/index.en.html

@korndogz69 Thanks for the info!
1
You are still trusting them your data ;-)
1
Using a VPN you are trusting them. Even with TOR. Just use TailsOS
1
So? They will not use that expensive tech on some random guy like you and me ;-)
1
@wlonsdale1 As I said - if you are not doing anything "unusual". Watching porn is not unusual ;-)
1
@zahxra2295 Yeah. Most people overestimate their importance in the world :-)
1
Tor spoofs your screen resolution - you could maximize it with no problem :-)
1
There are a lot of reasons :-)
1
There is no 100% privacy - only different levels of it.
1
Yep!
1
"good comapnies like instagram , facebook" - they are absolutely not GOOD ;-)
1
"But, isn't to this day, the biggest contributor to the TOR project is US Navy?" - yes it is. But it's still opens sourced so any programmer could look in it's source code. "TOR is too much of a hassle just to watch some porn." - yep! Just watch porn openly. I watch it! What's the problem with that :-)
1
Depends on where it's stored. If your ISP does it - it will be deleted after 3-6 months. So they don't know what you watched a year ago. Nor do they care now or in the past.
1
US Marine Corps, yes. But it's open sources so ANYONE could see what it does under the hood
1
Entertainment
1
Nope. That's what VPNs are for.
1
* Use trusted VPN * Enable "Encryption only" in your torrent client (and all setting about hiding torrent traffic) * Use only magnet links
1
It works but it doesn't make you any more secure. Google that ;-)
1
So? They would collect data on an exit node - not on you :-)
1
It's the best way of using Tor! :-)
1
Listen it! One problem less :-)
1
TV is outdated. Doesn't matter what is shown on TV - smart people don't watch it at all already ;-)
1
By googling. Helps with ANYTHING :-) Start with their official site
1
US Marine Corps, yes. But it's open sources so ANYONE could see what it does under the hood
1
That sentence makes ZERO sence
1
Depends on how comfortable you are with your current level of privacy. Most people are fine that everyone collects their data. They don't care.
1
Those salaries are not randomly generated - EVERY salary has a reason to be that high or low. Most people just don't agree with those reasons - but that doesn't make a difference.
1
Stock Android from Google is a privacy hell ;-)
1
Be aware - not afraid :-)
1
The more obfuscation - the better result.
1
Not for those which must be physically connected like USB drives.
1
They knew that before this video existed - they are not stupid :-)
1
Tor network is VERY slow. * Download or watch in bad quality with Tor * Or use trusted VPN
1
Proxy is just a server, that will connect to a site/resource that you want and transfer to you what it will get. Like a middleman. It's a "poor man" version of a VPN without encryption and without fleet of PC's that VPN networks have. VPN = motorcycle Proxy = bicycle
1
There are "pseudorandom numbers". You may google that.
1
Well - virus will only infect sandbox environment. Sometimes it could "leak" in your OS but it's still MUCH more secure.
1
Of course they do! Guess why? ;-)
1
Time to uninvite and delete ;-)
1
A "poor man's" VPN with less features and without encryption
1
Kinda VPNs are all about changing your IP so you could acc4ess resticted content of work from home remotely. Not for privacy.
1
Google Search can help with that. If you don't want to Google know that you are searching about Tor - use something like DuckDuckGo.
1
On PC and on smartphones there are anti-ads solutions
1
Yep! :-) All you can do is Start program -> wait until it syncronized -> close program. It will help a little. But check for running services!
1
It does. It's just most people think that they are invincible when they are using VPN :-)
