This program does something similar ;-)
2
I think some people do that too! There are millions of PC users worldwide ;-)
2
Play around with the program and google what you need ;-)
2
AVAST is not the greatest antivirus to be honest... ;-)
2
Not for him - but for all of us ;-) And for him xD

Isn't last Open Hardware Monitor update was in 2015? ;-)
1
@freddylippstick674 "Bigger number is better"? It's not always like that ;-) Judging by the fact that new one is the fork of old one - that mean that the new one have all the features of an old one plus some extra (if developers didn't mmake it worse on purpose or by incompetence).
1
@freddylippstick674 Fair point!
1
Developers of THIS program didn't sponsored this video ;-)
1
Add "Windows Update Minitool" and "O&O ShutUp10++" to this list ;-) First one let's you take control on what and where to update and second makes your Win10/11 MUCH more private
1
In 6 months ;-)
1
He literally explained that: Open Hardware Monitor DIED and this one was created in his place ;-)
1
This one is free and Open Source. In case something bad would happen to HWMonitor - this will survive ;-)
1
Depend on the person ;-)
1
Some people don't know what it is OR downloaded some shit from it ONCE and scared for their entire life. Average people's problems ;-)

He literally explained that: Open Hardware Monitor DIED and this one was created in his place ;-)

Make sure that you have .NET 4.7.2 (or 4.8) installed and start it as Admin
1
It's a fresh install of Windows ;-)
1
Fair point!

C# developer here (I have nothing to do with this application tho): * In .NET Framework there is no native Dark Mode support but it could be "faked" quite easily. * About menus staying open when you click on it - it's impossible for a menu item to do that. But developers of this software (or even me if I would have time for it) could add something like "What to log" window where you could check all the switches and press on OK button. * Windows Forms (a graphical framework on which this application was build on) does not support GPU acceleration by default so when you have A LOT of graphical items to draw in a window it may slow down. I may look into that. * How easy is to make a few items to be selected at the same time? I don't know. I should check this out. Edited: those are checkboxes - they can't be changed in bulk. Maybe some "unconventional programming" would help xD * Defining the plot area - should be pretty easy. Edited: copied from another comment: "You can hover over either side of the graph and use the scroll wheel to adjust the graph. Also right click and/or arrow keys to move it around." * Omit hidden sensors from the Log - should be doable. * Make recording more visible - should be doable. * Let users decide what to do with new logs: create new or append.

GitHub is pretty big so it could afford an anti DDoS protection ;-)
1
That would need an DLL injection. Theoretically, that could be done someday.
1
@happyitguy1819 Suggestion: if your pull request would be denied - just post the link to your fork here ;-)
1
Probably a fresh Windows install
1
@Kraneee That's what I do as fast as possible! So, fair point
1
It is. Watch the video carefully and you will know why he suggest this one ;-)
1
Fair point
1
Will not really helps in .NET Windows Forms ;-)
1
Undervolt it ;-)
1
Here comes the VirusTotal and your system AV ;-)
1
Let's hope they will get 3x of the donations ;-)
1
Unzip it and start. First time seeing a portable application, I presume ;-)
1
@joesatchton212 "WindowTop" can forcefully enable Dark Mode for any program ;-)
1
Nah you're fine!
1
OBS is the best one ;-)
1
Now you can use this one instead ;-)
1
@jaghine +1 for this
1
You mean Light/Dark mode, right?
1
Not the whole VirusTotal - just some paranoid AVs ;-)
1
@SamlinA-u8o Fair point! Don't install anything that you don't really need on that PC then.
1
7 months
1
Check the source code and see for yourself ;-) You can deny Internet access for this app if you are not sure. Most Open Source stuff is just people making a program in their free time.
1
Nope ;-)
1
Maybe it's a "one core vs all of the cores" problem.
1
Any reason for that? This one is based on that one and newer ;-)
1
@Duo26 👍
1
This is a newer version of Open Hardware Monitor.
1
Depends on a implementation ;-)
1
Most likely not
1
It's a fresh install of Windows ;-)
1
Which DLL? Tried to google what it is? ;-)
1
Look at nightly builds ;-)
1
Sadly.
1
Agree! Colors should be choose carefully.
1
If he could donate a million or two of $ ;-)
1
@kyoudaiken Just fork it and don't do any pull requests ;-)
1
An interesting question! Maybe because for it to work you would need an OS ;-)
