Money does not smell for them ;-)

That's what most adblockers do btw ;-) Stay curious, stay smart!

I will tell you a bigger secret: almost every free program have a "Donate" button and they really need those 5$ (unlike multibillion corporations) ;-)
2
1. Do that today ;-) 2. 30 seconds of ads generate less that 1 cent! Enable adblocker and just donate 1$ for any of your favorite creators xD
2
Who knows? ;-) That's a never ending war.
2
I'm fine with porn but only when I actively search for it ;-)
2
Same!
2
True-true! xD
2
That's a clever way! xD
2
@xezzee Agree!
2
So true ;-)
2
People have adblockers in their mind - they stop paying attention to the ads after some time xD I use adblocker since 2008 ;-)
2
@pegefounder Not a bad way! Adblockers also have their Bllacklisted domains so you created like a light version of an adblock ;-)
2
ProtonMail ;-)
1
There is an app that let's you watch YouTube with zero ads ;-)
1
Yep!
1
They don't care about their users. Why would users care about them then? ;-)
1
Agree! For me it's Firefox + uBlock Origin
1
Not viable. We are like 1-3% of all Youtube users ;-)
1
uBlock Origin is a good one ;-)
1
With a 100 Mb download limits! xD
1
Adblockers have better value because they work in any website ;-)
1
Why not install an adblocker then? ;-)
1
@shinobuoshino5066 That's because they are not your videos ;-)
1
Firefox + uBlock Origin works like a charm ;-)
1
Yep! Adds blocked: 2.752M xD
1
It will not ;-) Check out this comment after 5 years and see for yourself! People would use AI to block ads xD
1
Two good ones would be "Adblock Plus" and "uBlock Origin". I think the second one is better tho.
1
Nice! ;-)
1
I think that generates them less money. So many people accidentally click on the adds ;-)
1
Google "Sponsorblock" ;-)
1
Why not Firefox + uBlock Origin? ;-)
1
30 second ad gives Youtuber less than 1 cent ;-)
1
Most likely. Find a program that lets you watch Youtube without adds ;-) If you couldn't - I may help you (free and here in comment section - no scams xD )
1
@Pepso8P Just try "YouTube Vanced" ;-)
1
Just google how much 1 ad generates money and be shocked ;-) My advice: just install a good adblocker and donate 1$ to creators you like.
1
Fair point!
1
Some actually do and still prefer ads! Sheep mentality, maybe...
1
I'm using Firefox + uBlock Origin 0 problem with ads ;-)
1
Isn't uBlock Origin +10$ donation a better value? ;-) It blocks ads from any website - not only Youtube! (just pay a few $ for your favorite Youtubers to support them).
1
30 second add give them less that 1 cent! Enable adblocker and donate them 1$ instead ;-)
1
ADblock Plus and uBlock Origins are pretty old and trustworthy. Are you ok with Microsoft or Apple reading your keystrokes btw? ;-)
1
Try a different adblocker ;-)
1
Firefox + uBlick Origin works pretty good too ;-)
1
100% agree!
1
About VPNs: it depends on what and from whom you want to hide information ;-) VPN could be useful in some cases. But user should know those details.
1
Thank developers for that ;-)
1
* There is a way to have 0 adds on mobile ;-) * Don't watch TV - it is garbage since like 2010 xD
1
@nogyo About mobile. I used Vanced and had no ads on Youtube on Android ;-) For any other site - try Adblock Browser (a custom version of Chromium + Adblock). About TV - it's not for me: unscippable ads + unability to choose what exactly would I like to watch right now. Sorry for pushing my point of view on you tho ;-)
1
And most people are too stupid or lazy to do something with ads xD
1
;-)
1
Switched from ABP to uBlock Origin. I think it's better overall.
1
Let them try ;-) Do you hear, Google? I DARE you to try! xD
1
Same! My combo is Firefox + Ublock Origin
1
Google would call that "terrorism!" if they could ;-)
