Good luck finding cracked Crowdstrike software xD
1
It's C#, but typeless, slow and "easy" (not so easy compared to Python, huh?)
1
@muhammadyaaseenchandlay7145 I would suggest C# (if your main goal is writing programs for Windows). Kotlin, if you want write programs for Android. Or Swift if you want to write programs for anything Apple related. TypeScript for Web. There are no best language, but some are more comfortable to write in ;-) Python is great and easy but it lets you ignore types - that would bite you in the ass in future xD VisualBasic is outdated and have no types - learn it ONLY if you have a company where you KNOW that you will be working with it!
1
I'm not a Python developer but I would say: Debatable
1
Now learn CSS and JavaScript
1
@abdullahmertozdemir9437 If you don't have any particular projects in your head, I would suggest to learn C# for Windows Applications OR Kotlin for Android Applications OR Swift for anything Apple related OR JavaScript for Web. Those languages are easy to pick up and write in. After that you could learn whatever you want ;-)
1
@abdullahmertozdemir9437 True. C++ is pretty fundamental. Most languages would be easy after that ;-)
1
Well, if that would help with your work or 20$ is not much for you - why not? ;-)
1
Google "Linux From Scratch"
1
Google "Intel GPU alternatives for CUDA"
1
You may even ask ChatGPT is that considered cheating ;-)
1
Yep! I thing it's about familiarity and... lobbying ;-)
1
General Kenobi!
1
@andrewlutes2048 I had no such problems ;-) I'm using Fiirefox + uBlock Origin since like 2012
1
Do you have Crowdstrike kernel level driver? ;-)
1
Unity is great because it has the biggest Asset Store of any game engine. If you want to use your own assets of you are fine with just googling - Godot is MUCH more pleasant to work with ;-) I used GameMakerStudio 2, Unity 2017-2019, Unreal Engine 4 (not 5 tho...). ANd I still prefer Godot.
1
@zendraw3468 Well... Godot is rough. I wouldn't recommend it for 3D for sure. In 2D world - it depends. 2D game market is dominated by small indie studios - I think it's perfectly capable of making any indie-level type of game! What is the hardest to make 2D indie game in your opinion? HADES? Ori and the Blind Forest? Godot have much less features but to make a 2D game you don't really need much. I think Unity is just "battle-tested" and have a big Store, so developers know for sure that they could finish their game. In Godot... not so much... And consoles - Unity supports them out of the box while Godot doesn't and never will - it's Open Source while console SDK's are not. That's a BIG con for many developers! They don't want to outsource their game so they could have a console port for it. So, in my opinion, Godot is small and comfortable engine for hobbyists. It has some rough edges and will scare off companies for sure. It just have to win over small indie game developers. It will never be as popular as Unity and it's fine for me, personally ;-)
1
@zendraw3468 I hope that I have a mature point of view on this ;-) But I still not sure why I think that Godot is very comfortable to work with. Most likely it's his Theme + GDScript + small size + availability of source code (I looked how move_and_slide() function works, for example).
1
Nope! Google "Qsharp"
1
That's a lot of fire! Are they from fire nation? xD
1
Is it tho? Google how to use it correctly (ChatPGT4 is pretty good)
1
Do you have something from Crowdstrike installed? I think not ;-)
1
You know... ANY program that could benefit from multithreading ;-)
1
So it could be slow? Yay! ;-)
1
@christianovergaard1081 Fair point!
1
Microsoft Azure uses Linux tho ;-)
1
Convenience and... lobbying ;-)
1
Panda Linux :-)
1
True! So many big companies use it because they could do ANYTHING with it! a very permissive license.
1
xD
1
Kali is an Linux-based OS for... penetration testing ;-)
1
It will eventually. But that is not the end of a story for some people ;-)
1
"Help me make money so I could pay for you!" ;-)
1
I think there are still some things that would not work 1000 times faster ;-)
1
Dinosaurs said the same ;-)
1
Nah! It's much faster this way! xD
1
100% xD
1
AMD could also use thousands of cores so what's the problem? ;-)
1
That happened July 19 2024
1
@lemonke5341 To have this problem you should have enterprise antivirus from Crowdstrike. Most likely you don't have it ;-)
1
Python 2 was already a thing ;-)
1
True ;-) But the last update for Fortran was in 2018
1
Raise your Will stat ;-)
1
So as ChromeOS on Chromebooks :-)
1
Try Blender ;-)
1
Do you have something from Crowdstrike installed? I don't think so ;-)
1
@SamyarSamyarj You are most likely don't have that: it's for enterprise and pretty costly ;-)
1
You may use Go in Godot, I think ;-)
1
Debian Stable, RHEL and even Ubuntu Server are all pretty good. CentOS was nice. But now it's dead.
1
It's REALLY useful if it's done right ;-)
