Raid: Shadow Legends: + Good graphics + Waifus - All other. Literally.

True. But that's a real term in Windows - most drivers run at that level. StarForce protection also did that.

It's an "unknown factor". Is this potentially dangerous - yes. Is it doing anything bad - we don't know. Every man with a weapon is potentially dangerous. Will it kill you - probably not, but you can't be 100% sure.
18
@plitzkin Riot Games will not change anything. I 99% guarantee you.
14
Would not help with input lag ;-)

So true!

Very likely!

True!

Give them money instead ;-)
2
... with a big hit for image quality ;-) Watch some comparisons With DLSS and FSR.
2
It will run better but with the same bugs. More powerful hardware do no solve all the problems ;-)
2
True.
2
Linus? :-) Also, google for "Microsoft switched to Linux on Azure servers".
1
Read Windows EULA and have fun ;-) User itself doesn't have kernel access by default.
1
True. It's kinda... inconvenient :-) But it can be done.
1
He is doing a PCI-E passtrough. Google that.
1
Hard to tell. Try to search for that SYS file after deleting the game. I heard that it deletes anti-cheat.
1
Who the hell collects porn in 2020? Isn't it easily accessible now or it's just me? :-)
1
@jethro3477 Ah, I see ;-)
1
nigge r Well... that's not me who collects a lot of stuff :-) And yes - I only have my SSD. HDD is external.
1
Just check that emulator on Christmas ;-)
1
True.
1
He is freaked out that it's a Chinese company. But it's really sounds like no other anti-cheat does that :-)
1
Some say that it removes the "driver". You may search for that SYS file before and after deleting the game and see for yourself.
1
He mean that this anti-cheat has full access to your system. It may or may not collect any data it wants. How scary it is - depends on what data it may collect (name, address, credit card, pin, IP, logins...)
1
Only with Valorant. The thing is - MOST anti-cheat systems do similar things.
1
Crossfire + Paladins
1
Something is wrong - that is not normal.
1
There is no easy way. But there IS a way ;-)
1
@bloodslinger3347 Agree!
1
* Delete the game * Check for that SYS file. * Google for other anti-cheat systems and realize that most of them work THE SAME WAY :-)
1
Why trust companies that SELL your personal data? Just search for a minute and you will know more :-)
1
Ring of Elisium - it wants an Administrator rights and also owned by Chinese company.
1
It can be done. All virtual Machines have special drivers installed - you may create a program that could detect that it's on a virtual machine.
1
* Delete the game * Check for that SYS file. * Google for other anti-cheat systems and realize that most of them work THE SAME WAY :-)
1
That video will not damage it much. Most people just don't care. My proof - read Windows EULA :-)
1
That rootkit may or may not collect any data and send it whatever it wants. It's easy for it because it has FULL system access. Did it actually do something bad - we don't know yet.
1
Cracked games don't need that ;-)
1
The thing is - what exactly Chinese government will find interesting in your PC?
1
You are recording from a nuclear bunker? Interesting place to chill :-)
1
Some rich boy would buy 128 Gb of RAM just to play it 30 minutes xD Money well spend tho!
1
He is just freaked out because it's owned by China. And because ANYTHING related to Valorant is trending now ;-)
1
Google "How to play Valorant". Done :-)
1
Remove what? You mean - anti-cheat? If you remove it - you will not be able to login in game :-)
1
Free or paid version?
1
You mean "anti-cheat".
1
True.
1
Why not ;-)
1
True!
1
All Arch users do that :-)
1
Free or paid version?
1
Some of player will still play it. Some just don't care.
1
Google for "how anti-cheat system works".
1
You could check out modern indie games - they have the same "core" as old games ;-)
1
@FR3SHM3AT I wouldn't call them ugly. Some are very pretty! * Children of Morta * Hades 1and 2 * Core Keeper * Dark Light * StarSector And SO many more! There are great old games but modern games are not all soulless garbage ;-)
1
They have only two options: * Make anti-cheat "user-level". That will make it MUCH weaker as an anti-cheat. * Leave it as is and freak out some people.
1
@xsentialgaming6008 As far as I know - to start a kernel-level module you have to restart your PC. "Do you want to restart your PC to play Valorant? Y/n" :-) It HAS to start BEFORE the system itself and right after kernel starts.
1
Someone says that it does. I can't prove that.
1
No - we can only study it's behavior. If you will try to modify it - it will not let you login into game.
1
@YourTVUnplugged Actually - you are correct. But there will be no need to modify it if we can't find that it's doing something suspicious :-)
1
Google things and you will have :-)
1
Google "Windows qemu with PCI-E passtrough"
1
Every application is a *.exe Does it contain viruses? - upload on Virustotal and check it out! https://www.virustotal.com/gui/home
1
Yeah... That will work :-) Make them rework the WHOLE game because of anti-cheat - because it's more fun that way!
