  1. Why are the players, on both sides, covering their mouths when speaking to each other? If they have an honest complaint about terrible racist chants coming from the stands (which, of course, is deplorable and should never be tolerated) why all the secrecy? One doesn't need to be secretive when making a honest point concerning crowd behaviour, surely? Just wondering, is all. It's no secret why the 'fans' act this way. To put an opposing player off their game and so gain an advantage. If they knew an opposing player had had a recent death in the family or a recent unfortunate social faux pas, they would use that too. Win, win, win, is all. At any cost. However you get the job done. Whatever the tactic used. Win the game. If good manners and polite decorum won games of football...they would exploit those behaviours too!

  2.  @ozoneA6  Protect themselves from what exactly? Tell the truth and stand by your words, I say. Have nothing to hide and say what I mean. We all make mistakes in life - but honesty and integrity should be the best policy, surely. Vinicius has a genuine complaint that must be taken seriously. This isn't the playground and these are adults we are talking about, right?
