  1. You are right. The report was irresponsible because it wasn't balanced. It only provided a very partial and skewed view of Pregabalin use.

  2. Millions of people take this drug quite safely and responsibly for anxiety, nerve pain and neurological disorders. I do. Like many drugs, it is addictive and withdrawals are pretty bad for some people. Stopping use must be tapered very slowly and no one should stop taking Pregabalin all of a sudden. I'm not denying your experience but we must keep things in perspective.

I do not know how your son died - and, honestly, I would never be rude enough to just ask. But your two sentences do suggest to me your son may have purchased Pregabalin on the streets illegally? If he didn't, then again I am sorry for even daring to suggest so. And, again, I am very saddened for your loss. To all drug addicts out there. There is no shame or moral judgement implied about being addicted to drugs - or anything addictive for that matter. We are all humans and we all deserve love, care and consideration. Thank you.

If Starmer promised to scrap Brexit and re-enter the EU and the single market - like most people now want him to do - it would be against the wishes of (just) more than half of the country who voted to LEAVE. Which is undemocratic. So Starmer cannot promise what he can't deliver. A close majority of idiots voted to LEAVE and tank the economy and cause untold damage and misery and now all those Tory bigots and little Englanders will just have to suck it up and live with it. I voted REMAIN so I'm cool, baby. I don't blame Scotland for wanting to escape the Tory sh*tshow. But the 'once-in-a-lifetime' referendum on Indepedence also had a sh*tty result that didn't go your way. And to overturn that horrible result just because you don't like it is also undemocratic against all the idiots who want to maintain the union. So the SNP are promising something they cannot deliver too. Sorry.

  9. A lot of drug addicts take Pregabalin for 'cold turkey' withdrawal symptoms when other, harder drugs are not available. I am sorry for your loss.

  10. Don't be scared of Pregabalin. Many people live with neurological conditions that are incurable but manageable. I do. You can take this drug safely for the rest of your life. The maximum dose is 600mg daily.
