Good point well made, Stephen Walker.

lol

Because the terrible Tories are so much better...😂
2
Because the older working-class voters in deprived areas believe (wrongly, in my opinion) that Labour will give away their hard-earned taxes in too-generous benefits to illegal migrant pedophiles and lazy work-shy drug addicts and disabled lesbian Marxists and those 'POC' they have been brainwashed into hating generally. As long as 'the other guy' remains as poor as them, they don't care. The culture war is real and that's why the terrible Tories are playing it for all it's worth.
2
Yes, this present Tory cabal isn't horribly right-wing enough...😂
2
No, they just don't like the other guy to get rich if they can't also.
2
good point, well made

The people who need real change in this country don't vote at all. That's the problem. Poor people and the marginalized and forgotten need to use their voice and vote. So they need a party they can believe in and can trust to serve their interests. Any ideas?

Good point well made, Stephen Walker.
1
Save your hatred for the terrible Tories...not all working-class people generally who you obviously look down on.
1
Maybe only middle-class people should be allowed to vote, how would that be? Patronizing, moi? 😂
1
Rachel Reeves would make a good leader, I feel. But do voters want another woman in charge of the country?
1
stop smoking those funny cigarettes
1
voting Reform will only lead to a Tory win next gen election. sorry

The digital age is about information. In this future, even money itself will become bits and bytes floating in the ether.
1
"The fact that any of these red wally biddies are still willing to hold their nose and vote Tory, after all this mess, is frankly astonishing..." The middle-class left fail to understand the working-class right. Again. Which is part of the probelm of why Labour persist in being so out of touch with ordinary working people...
1
They won't. They can't. And they know it.
1
The UK is not quite the USA. At least, not quite yet...
1
Patronising, moi?
1
Nothing changes much, does it? 1981-2023

You watched those working-class Conservative older voters in the video and saw: "right wing swivel eyed retirees barely able to string a sentence together..." It's your own inverted class prejudice that should be examined and maybe adjusted? The failure of the middle-class left to understand the real motives and drives of the working-class right is a real problem holding Labour back. To dismiss people who disagree with your politics as idiots or evil is too easy, too narrow-minded. We cannot bring people into the Labour fold if we openly despise them or persist in pretending we don't understand them. Why do Labour hate the working class so? I ask myself constantly...

"THE JUSTICE OF THE MOST KNOWN MURDERER DICTATOR. IT CAN NEVER BE OF THE SOVEREIGN PEOPLE. WHAT A BIG LIE."
1
"I'm not racist or sexist BUT...blah, blah, blah...hate, hate, hate...🤣"
1
Middle-class left fail to understand working-class right. Surprise-surprise. No wonder nothing ever changes in this horribly divided country...
1
wrong

Voting Reform only guarantees a Tory win. Thanks.
1
A lot of people want to be gaslighted, that's the problem. They want their bias confirmed and their selfish self-interest applauded.
1
Voting with your conscience is fine and good and noble - and will guarantee the Tories a win at the next election. Thanks.

kick babies in the street and be unkind to puppies live on TV
1
@martinwebb1681 The politics of greed and envy and division drive a lot of people. At the end of the day, when it comes right down to it, most people are selfish and put themselves first every time and don't need much excuse to act like real kunts.
1
the future is 24-hour living and working, zero hour contracts, the politics of envy and greed and division and hate and more more misery...sorry
1
At last on here, a sane person.
1
lol
1
So this present Nazified Tory government is not hatefully right-wing enough for you. Got it.
1
Your disillusionment with the Tory party is understandable. Your assessment of Labour as a left-wing Marxist cabal out to ruin the country is way off the mark. If anything, Starmer is Tory-lite at worst.
1
This Ruzzian troll needs an even more horribly right-wing Tory government. Can anyone here help him out?
1
except pensioners and stay-at-home mums and dads and the unemployed and people who work out of doors and people on their day off or on their break and people on holiday. yes, everyone.
1
Because there are deprived areas in the UK that are so disenfranchised and hopeless: areas both the Tories and Labour have ignored and demonized for far too many years...
1
very interesting
1
Can't we care for all peoples in the world? Why place one above the other?
1
lol

@stephenwalker850 lol

You are describing every Tory government we have ever had. And yet people still vote for them...
1
Understanding how a Tory thinks is simple. Tories don't believe in making poor people's lives better. No. Their general philosophy is: "Come, poor people of Britian. Come join us. Be one of us. Only selfishness and systemic racism will improve your lives. Only heartlessness will make you richer and more comfortable. There is no such thing as society. Only self-interest and cold hard ambition. So come join us and be richer and more powerful - because, of course, only power and money lead to happiness. Come join us!" And people eat it up like mammon. Vampires want to infect and turn everybody else into themselves - until they run out of victims and everybody is dead-undead. No economic system has yet been invented or thought of that can allow everybody to be millionaires. And yet everybody believes it can be so. But if everybody is rich...who will dig our graves and empty our bins and sweep our streets, you may ask. Who will empty our bins...?
1
Why is their class important? You watched those working-class Conservative older voters in the video and saw: "these working class shmucks ..." It's your own inverted class prejudice that should be examined and maybe adjusted? The failure of the middle-class left to understand the real motives and drives of the working-class right is a real problem holding Labour back. To dismiss people who disagree with your politics as idiots or evil is too easy, too narrow-minded. We cannot bring people into the Labour fold if we openly despise them or persist in pretending we don't understand them. Why do Labour hate the working class so? I ask myself constantly...

Good point well made, Stephen Walker.

Migrants live in towns and cities inland, ya dummy.

lol

Old people die and then the younger people behind them inevitably grow old and become the next gen of old people. Don't you understand how time works?

You Tube Nazi voice: "Papers, please!"
1
Channel Four presenters generally have this annoying habit of interrupting their guests (of all political shades and none) when they are genuinely trying to answer a complex or involved question. It's partly because of the televisual time limits placed on the presenters themselves. If you don't want to hear the answer or don't really care for the response, don't ask the question in the first place, I say.
1
I live in Liverpool. So, of course, I understand you perfectly.

Phil, who is so special he floats above the world of men like an omniscient God...

Hey, good luck with all the racism and stuff...! 😂
