@G4RY1159 don't blame you. I wish you independence sooner not later.

Because they couldn't get any other Tory politician to go on the programme. They all avoid channel four like an overweight brickie avoids fruit.

SLEAZE /sliːz/ noun: sleaze BRITISH immoral, sordid, and corrupt behaviour or activities. "political campaigns that are long on sleaze and short on substance" INFORMAL: NORTH AMERICAN a sordid, corrupt, or immoral person. plural noun: sleazes "having failed as a leading man, he triumphs as a sleaze" Nowt wrong with the word 'sleaze.' Good word. Very descriptive and, in this case, extremely apt.

@zadebasil3033 First of all, I'm not your pal, Mr. Angry. So take a chill pill. Just because someone slightly disagrees with you, you don't have to come out fighting and bite their head off. If you have personal problems or anger issues, I sympathise. But I'm not your enemy. 'Sleaze' means sordid, corrupt or immoral. That is it's formal definition. Everything else is just semantic game-playing. It would have been interesting to have a friendly discussion with you about perhaps why you think the public don't take the word 'sleaze' as seriously as the word 'corruption.' Maybe 'sleaze' sounds too informal whilst 'corruption' sounds formal and official and deeply serious. But you know what, just forget it, yeah? If you cannot converse in a friendly and mature manner, why bother?

'sleaze' implies rottenness, corruption, filth, dirtiness, muckiness, immorality, sordidness - very apt to the present circumstances, I think.
