Comments by "Stephen Walker" (@stephenwalker2924) on "Huge wave of Covid infections overwhelm China" video.
China only delayed the inevitable with their elongated lockdowns and weak vaccines. No herd immunity built up. No proper health care provision readied in good time (to see five or six people crowded around an elderly relative's bed in a packed ICU is just sheer madness). The Chinese government finally lifts restrictions and...ta-da! the Covid Crazies kick off in earnest. Here we go again. China now cannot be isolated from the rest of the world because in the midst of a global recession/depression every country needs their business, their goods and services...

@ayoolukoga9829 "But there is no place like home. So Dorothy clicked her heels three times and off she flew back to Kansas...wwwwwwwwwwwwwweeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee. The End." Lovely. A Mickey Mouse Ending, for sure. But lovely, nonetheless.

@ayoolukoga9829 To the pure, all things are pure; but to the defiled and unbelieving, nothing is pure. Indeed, both their minds and their consciences are defiled.…

@ayoolukoga9829 The Berean Standard Bible (BSB) is a completely new MODERN English translation of the Holy Bible based on the best available manuscripts and sources. Each word is connected back to Greek or Hebrew to produce a transparent text that can be studied for its root meanings.

@ayoolukoga9829 The New International Version (NIV) is an English translation of the Bible first published in 1978 by Biblica (formerly the International Bible Society). The NIV was created as a modern translation, based on the original King James Bible, by scholars using the earliest and highest quality source manuscripts available, into broadly understood modern English. The Bible was actually written in three different ancient languages: Hebrew, Aramaic, and Greek. While a modern version of each of these languages is spoken today, most modern readers of those languages would have some difficulty with the ancient versions used in the biblical texts. “Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit..” – Matthew 28:19 “And the gospel must first be preached to all nations.” – Mark 13:10

@ayoolukoga9829 The Index Librorum Prohibitorum of the Catholic Church included various translations of the Bible. In most cases, the bans on pious lay people possessing or using Bibles were related to vernacular Bible editions. Clerics were never forbidden to possess the Vulgate Bible, Jerome's translation in the Latin language. The New Revised Standard Version, Catholic Edition (NRSV-CE) is a Bible translation approved for use by the Holy See, receiving the imprimatur of the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops and the Canadian Conference of Catholic Bishops in 1991.

@ayoolukoga9829 However narrow the path and the gate on the broad way, don't all roads lead to Rome (pun intended)? For example: "So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it." - - Isaiah 55:11 — King James Version (KJV 1900) QUOTE: 'Despite the unbiblical beliefs and practices of the Roman Catholic Church, there are genuine believers who attend Roman Catholic churches. There are many Roman Catholics who have genuinely placed their faith in Jesus Christ alone for salvation. However, these Catholic Christians are believers despite what the Catholic Church teaches, not because of what it teaches. To varying degrees, the Catholic Church teaches from the Bible and points people to Jesus Christ as the Savior. As a result, people are sometimes saved in Catholic churches. The Bible has an impact whenever it is proclaimed (Isaiah 55:11).' I'm not Catholic. I belong to no church and my faith is my own. Sometimes it is best to allow people to find their own road to Salvation, no?
