It's clear Prince Andrew is lying. He never answers a direct, simple question with a direct, simple response. He over-explains every little detail that is painfully ripped out of him. He has a great memory when it suits him (providing an alibi or evidence to back up a denial) and a terrible memory when that's the better option (lack of alibi or an embarrassing truth that he can't just gainsay or wish away). He doesn't look nervous, as any normal person would. He looks angry. Like he's furious that he's being questioned in this way at all. That he thinks us common people should just fuck off and leave him alone to get on with any nefarious business he wants to get up to. His whole manner is haughty and strange. Even when he does use a simple 'yes' or 'no' answer, his body language is all over the place. He shakes his head when he should be nodding and vice versa. Every time he tries to show humour or indulgence or surprise or shock or just plain old human concern or worry it all looks false, false, false.
