Toward the end of your video you say that many people in the state are upset with Portland’s disproportionate influence over the state, but I believe you also stated that more than half of Oregon’s population lives in the greater Portland area. I live in Illinois and many say similar things about Chicago calling all of the shots for Illinois. I bet you can find several other states with one city with a population large enough that it appears it controls the entire state. People have been, for decades now, leaving rural areas in favor of cities and/or suburbs where more opportunities lie.
