  3. My wife works for JPMorgan Chase, and has worked in banking for over twenty-five years. The woman is correct. There’s more to the story than Farage is saying. Edit add: Banking regulations require things of banks, like monitoring for fraud or money laundering, and then alerting authorities when any is detected. They’re also required to not tip off the suspected customers that the bank is on to them. The banks can, however, limit their services so as to cut down the risk of losing money on their end.

  13.  @MrHobbesandlocke  , if he triggered a AMLS alert the bank had no choice. It was just following the law. And if his balance truly dropped below the minimum threshold, then the bank decided to treat him as they would any other customer. That’s life.

And, for the record, my left JPMChase a few years ago and now works for a small regional bank, and she never was in a senior management decision-making position. Most problems in life are created by the small handful of people in power. Put the blame where it belongs.

But right now it’s NATO-lent weapons operated by Ukrainian troops vs Russian troops with Russian weapons, and the occasional Iranian drone or artillery shell from North Korea.

  30. She’s over analyzing it. Biden won in 2020 because he wasn’t Trump, and he was doing well before he dropped out because he wasn’t Trump. When he stepped aside and Harris stepped forward the donations poured in because she isn’t Trump. Most Americans don’t want Trump again.

FYI : Hillbilly Elegy is still up on Netflix and is a pretty good watch. It’s a Ron Howard directed movie, and performances by Glenn Close and Amy Adams are terrific. Take it—and his book—with a big grain of salt.
