  2. Good on Warren to play it this way. Course...AIG ended up with $182 billion in loans, which got paid back early, and a $22.7 billion profit for the taxpayers. Lehman Brothers? They got what probably should have happened to AIG, even if it wasn't AIG's "fault"...although better vetting of what they were insuring would have revealed the CDO issue. Would others have fallen if AIG went down? You bet they would have, and that's why the loans were done.
