  1. No, the airbags did what they were designed to do. The Tesla most likely considered this a low speed event, since it was under 10 mph prior to the truck hitting. Unfortunately, the truck speed/weight was far more than any usual accident with another car. Hope Gavin and his passenger are ok soon and get a new Model X. Definitely go after the driver AND the trucking company.

  5. Hey Marcel in Germany....you watching? Glad you're ok...but you were 100% at fault there man. That truck had his turn signal on and had plenty of room when he started changing lanes. Those police officers who said it was the truck driver's fault...my guess is they were trying to de-escalate any situation for you and the truck driver after.

Just because you are legal to lane split, doesn't mean it's safe to do so...sure that SUV shouldn't have moved over, but to me, the biker is the one who gets the ticket and needs to pay for replacement of the mirror. Oh yeah, bet his hand was hurting pretty good after that smack, unless that mirror was already falling off. You're a weird guy Ben....glad you're back doing voiceovers!

  13. Seems to me Gunnawut needs to learn how to properly drive his Model 3. No way in @#$@ should those pickups have been able to stay with the Model 3 like that, unless the Model 3 driver didn't know how to drive. There are driving schools in the LA area that will help learn the capabilities of that wicked cool Model 3...so the next time, you can just out drive them. Good thing no permanent damage was done. That said, doesn't condone what those pickup drivers did.
