Mr. Johnno, I salute you and all the other Truckies! It's not an easy job, but it's a VERY important one!! I wish you many more trouble free km's! Mike....what a fun trip! So good you didn't have to go through Alice Springs....that really is the middle of NOWHERE. Haha. Thinking that if I did this trip, I'd have to rent an RV type vehicle, but properly planned, it seems there are hotels you can get. Nice! What was the total cost of fuel? Whatever it is, OUCH!
