@Will A if the transportation is so fast an reliable, then you can set up more places that go along the railway, not just one spot along it. you can't just say higher living cost will occur. most often that occurs because of shortages, caused by government policy of restricting building development and renovation, as well as transportation not being good enough that only x distance away from the main city center gets populated. pollution exists wherever people live, and it's a matter of overall pollution habits and policies, not anything to do with rails per se. your statements are just assertions, not really guaranteed outcomes.

@0fficialdregs you can only fault china if they make the debt unpayable, such as high interest or blocking profitability somehow. Those countries can repay the loan, and then china doesn't get to take over anything. Simply giving a loan and exercising collateral repossession rights (like every loan in the world) isn't nefarious or guaranteed. This kind of logic ignores the ability and circumstances of the borrower who can do things to afford their loan, and puts all the blame on the lender, as if the lender can make the borrowing default. -_- please.

This video had the WORST shots of the actual design. Every shot was super short and rushed, and you never a feel for what is where or the details. It's always just super quick shots designed to wow and dazzle you instead of giving you an actual idea of how it looks and feels from various angles or from this balcony or the bottom or under the A frames, etc.

It's not just hotdog. It's bacon-wrapped deviled hotdog

I like how he makes most likely nefarious geopolitical machinations to feel like some fun and interesting coffee shop news.

400km is 240miles, same distance from LA to Vegas.

@xiaomose7495 isn't that wonderful? You can even be a brutal military dictator and still get help from China. Wow! Such progressive!

everything government does is pretty shit.

Great footage but very superficial content. Just saying things to fill time.
1
Horribly superficial coverage of the controversy. WHy now? THeres already multiple Russian pipelines. That's because it comes from Russia that means Russia will have geopolitical leverage like a course. But that's no reason not to increase Supply. Like why not have a Russian Pipeline and also an era pipeline and more pipe lights. The more suppliers bid for you as a purchaser did the better position you are in.

Good thing to point out. But ik the end you have to still do the math to see if those other areas are actually offsetting the possess by the train
1
Not being able to pay operating costs every year is like adding a big subscription to your ongoing budget. You better hope those other things are more than offsetting the debts or else that operating loss will become a gigantic liability quickly
1
@youngz13o ok, let's say public infrastructure should be cost driven. It's operating at a net loss so it isn't covering it's costs. I'm not impressed.

Solar roads are so bad for so many reasons

it's ok.

@qjtvaddict ya! Drug addicts should stay in public transit where they belong!

Soft power. Grabbing countries by their money purse, so they can't go against china when it comes to political matters like voting against china invadijt Taiwan or siwzinf the south china sea, or going to war with the USA. This is all setup - developing your chess pieces before making your grand play
1
rebuilding needs to be less about car roads and more about better public transit.
