  2. imagine if China's population was armed. or soviet union's. there wouldn't have been massive domestic genocides and abuse of rights. anti-gun leftists in the western world are like "why do we need immune systems? we don't really get sick", not realizing that you don't get sick BECAUSE you have an immune system. As tragic as mass shootings are, sometimes you have to keep things in perspective. A government becoming the "mass shooter" is so so SO SO so much worse. Millions dead and millions thereafter suffering trauma, poor economies, and so much more as opposed to a few hundred deaths with preserved functional institutions. That's having imported frogs for your fly problem, then importing snakes for your frog problem, and now you have fkn snakes. stick with the fly problem. Have a little bit of foresight and ability to think hypothetical scenarios.
