random improbable, yet very probable chance is not at all like divine right or legitimacy.

not just those, also you actually learn a lot from it. it's the perfect "airplane spoon" to get them to eat their education.

This is just a low quality video with mealymouthed amateur statements whose implications, and true meaning haven't been thought out thoroughly enough. It's like listening to people who say objects will disappear if they travel beyond the speed of light because the equation makes that mathematically impossible. ^ The problem with that is it's a mathematical theory or a model describing observed empirical reality. If the equation has exceptions, then the meaning thereof isn't clear, let alone "disappear". I'm still open to whatever "it happened everywhere" may mean, but I wouldn't bet much on it getting explained well.

I don't see why that's any reason to devote time to it. non-sequitur. If I don't devote time and energy to it, that implies that somehow my points are invalid, or something? Like I said, I'm a fan of the guy, I think he did a great job overall, and he's doing a lot of good. I was attesting to a specific aspect of wording in detail because I was asked to.

Wait. this video keeps talking about mom's x chromosome / dad's x chromosome. Don't they mix, randomly, and you end up with chromosomes that are conjugates? There is no "mom's" or "dad's". Both your x chromosomes are a mixture of both. Am I wrong? Did I completely forget my high school biology lessons?

Is what he's saying here scientifically kosher? It seems to my amateur understanding, that relativistic effects weren't being taken into account. it seemed very classical, velocity addition-ish. Other explanations just don't seem very... consistent or well thought out as other explanations. I wouldn't put too much stock in this video regarding the universe.

Not only is this explanatory and a great presentation of great research, but it's also an HONEST, TRANSPARENT ask. I appreciate that's education + non-manipulative.

3:00 don't be so overdramatic. You're talking about AC, and the "myth" you're talking about is DC. 🙄

@zinodz8774 the experience is similar to doing math calculations. one wrong step...

forget carbon emissions. push forth thorium nuclear plants and get government to stop banning them.

This is how marketing is rewarded more than actual content. Marketing is corrupting the world again

@fromthebackseat4865 idiot commies blaming human nature on capitalism. communism creates dicatatorships and kills more poeple than capitalism ever has, but "y'all never want to discuss that"
1
"gurus" aren't gurus at the subject they claim they're gurus in. They're gurus in acting and giving speeches.
1
DC vs AC. It's like he thinks electricity is only AC.

Wrong title. It's not why we can't have nice things (as if "because some conspiracy theories are real, that gives credibility to conspiracy theorists") The title should be be a change of attitude on the part of conspiracy theory bashers, just like how we say it's the racists who should change their attitude and prejudice. Anti-conspiracy theorists make the same thinking mistake and bias as conspiracy theorists - they pigeon hole / stereotype / prejudge things to be a certain conclusion. It's actually both who need to be more discerning and judicious. Just like how not all people of X race are good/bad, not all conspiracy theories are true/bs.
