  3. ​@Tolerance not really. only in the very short term. in any free-ish market, their labor will be vastly underpriced compared to a current developed country's wages for low price. the supply increase of low skill labor will be astronomical. The North Koreans will be much better off in the medium run. There will be housing shortages. But the true resentment and unrest will come from the current low skill workers of South Korea who will be displaced by the influx of cheap North Korean labor. It will be the low skill South Korean workers who will need feeding, housing, and welfaring.
