  1. that's not just companies, that's literally everyone. i'd rather have toast for 1 minute rather than 2 minutes of work. you'd rather have a monitor for 50$ instead of 60$ for the same monitor.

  2. but basic toaster ovens do not require super densely packed chips. anyone can make those, not just TSMC
