  1. cause the FED has feet in both realms. They a bureau created by congress, but they have stocks, and hte owner of those stocks is not the US gov. when the FED was created, there was a portion of those stocks that did not have to be disclosed. who is eating them up? the banks own another portion of the FEDs stocks So wouldn't this be a nice profit model? the US gov is in debt. so they pay interest to... who creates and loans the money? FED. Wodner why we don't our debt doesn't get paid off?
