  11. are you buying up resources that are required by people to live and charging more for them? if that was for concert tickets, it would be known as "scalping" but here, these resources re necessary to live. So, surely, it should be a worse term for landlords since they are preying on basic needs Plus, when you get scalped it does not keep you down financially. Renting cripples those forced into it to the extent that they can't get out. So, it should be an even worse term for Landlords.

Although I dislike the blatant corruption and necessary incompetence of the house of lords, seriously the juxtaposition of flowers with a guillotine was supposed to be a tongue in cheek comical overreaction. Still, poor old house of lords, why should they spend their untaxed billions on flowers when they can force the poor to buy them frivolous luxuries?
