Prayers always go to sinners first. With God's help Trump will be forgiven for cheating on his wife with pornstars.

@texasbeast239 I don't know about Pelosi. Yes, Clinton needs praying for too. If He is merciful, he'll help sinners that have power over us first.

@texasbeast239 I can't speak for Pelosi. I'd guess she's probably not obeying the King because there is not one to obey.

@texasbeast239 Using ancient etymology is not a very airtight justification for why the equal branches of government in a modern day democrasy should be subverted so that the president gains the powers of the other branches to become a king.

@texasbeast239 Cool job at bringing the ad-hominems first. I'm not hung up on the word 'king'. I'm pointing out that a king has absolute power and a president does not. in fact, he shares his power with the body Pelosy represents, equally. If 'king' is meant to represent those in power, then that's not the president alone, it includes Pelosi. Equal government means that those the bible is referring to includes Pelosi, and she should be respected by you, too. By your own reasoning.

@texasbeast239 And I only brought up the etymology because you seem to be hung up on your emotional connotations with the English word "king". I was also trying to get you to see past your own short focus.

@texasbeast239 sorry, You Tube comment section hid the rest of your post here. aside from semantics, I'll try to summarise your argument let me know if it's a straw man: the New testament says all should obey one individual that is considered the 'leader' - is that right? Even if there are 'coequal' branches in the law, the New testament says you should submit to the branch which has the figurehead. - is that right?
