In fact, I would have expected more to have happened. tbh, the bit I don't believe is that anyone is actually doing anything about it. In 2016, I'd not forgotten the last republican government took us to war on outright lies with a president who had little to no intelligence. In 2016, we were voting in a close election for Brexit, which Boris was leading. I'm surprised you had not lost faith by then.
