@JohnSmith-oe5rx this is not quite true; it's not that they can't fund their offices; it's that they can't put aside billions for pensions. during the bush era, a bill was passed which made the post office unique in that it needed to supply the pensions of future employees in total, up front, before employing them. no-one else on earth does this. that is why they are bankrupt.

why, the republican party are big on keeping to the constitution. we could ask them! they do a great job at making sure the general public is allowed mass killing murder weapons, as per one of the amendments.
