"Hmm. maybe he's right; lets look at the other things Trump has said about the disease: 'its a dem hoax;' 'it'll be gone with the warmer weather;' 'soon 15 cases will be none and it will miraculously disappear;' 'it's just like flu;' 'I think the death rate is probably less than the flu'... Hmmm none of these things he's said seem to have been true; why would I trust him on a medical issue when this has not been tested against this disease at all, and there is no medical evidence? Of all people, given his track record, we're probably best doing the opposite of what he says."

side effects of the drug include vomiting. do you really want to give that to someone who's fed by tube and desperately need to keep their airways open without finding out how to use it properly?

@stevebartz4885 I don't think you have any idea what state these people are in when they die. They can't breathe. How are you going to get oxygen in while they're vomiting?

@smylyface as long as it's "I accept that I'm taking my chances" over "teh media is trying to kill us!!111" then that's ok. It's not a call that doctors should have to make for you, though; they need their drugs to be tested as they might be responsible for killing you rather than saving you. Not only is Trump whipping up a media storm, he's also pressuring doctors into performing treatments which they know nothing about, and then having to live with the consequences.
