If it's a choice between edit and delay, then delay seems the better option. Because if parts, that the Met effectively chooses, are removed, they will never be seen again.

@boldford It is well known that many do not vote, and the FPTP winner is normally the largest minority. So the largest group is actually the group that do not want any of the candidates on offer.

@lauralishes1 The corruption is that the Met did not want to investigate. But now that an investigation is underway, they have been in conversation. So they are wading in to suppress the damaging parts. They are doing this by seeking an exclusive investigation so that nobody can argue against their findings. Their argument that the report may influence investigators only implies that their investigators have so little integrity that they cannot refrain from reading it. If the report is not published in full, then the events that the Met have chosen, will never be revealed. They have no argument against the report being delayed until after they have completed their own investigation.

@bumdiggory If the Met had done their job and started an investigation into the allegations, then the Sue Gray inquiry might not have started. But they refused. Presumably so they could pull this scam.
