Last time I went to Wetherspoons I waited about 30 minutes for a pint. Never going to get drunk there. They changed to an American style pub where they bring you drink to your table. With a pub full of drinkers and only 3 staff they can’t keep up. No wonder they don’t make money, self inflicted.

@terrytaylor1394 But they were still doing the table service well after the Covid restrictions were lifted. I really cannot understand it. They couldn't possibly make enough money if they have to take people's drinks to their tables. If they have a small number of staff, they cannot serve quickly enough. If they hire enough staff to serve they will increase their overheads. Doomed to fail. But they did it to themselves.
