  1. Why don't the Palestinians leave? They live under constant threat from the war between Israel and Hamas, and nobody anywhere else wants to live in a war zone, yet the Palestinians stay, its an anomoly. I've seen now that Hamas will not let them go, I have heard if they leave, then Israel will not let them return. So why don't the Israelis pay them handsomely for their land? They can take the money and live safely and comfortably in the neighbouring countries. Or does Israel keep them there as a human sheild? Hostages to prevent the Muslim nations from invading. Or is it more insidious? What exactly did Hamas think they would achieve with that attack? They can hardly believe they would take Israel, they could hardly believe they wold gain international support, they could hardly believe they would win a war. By kicking the hornets nest they have just got Palestinians killed. Just after Israel sold rights to explore Gaza for gas.
